With great
honor, during November 2014, we hosted at Cressa Ghitonia Village, the largest
German magazine of gastronomy "Essen & Trinken" and the
exceptional gastronomist and author Kay-Henner Menge , along with the famous
photographer Christian Kerber !
The
magazine "Essen & Trinken", stands out in Germany and the rest of
Europe for its unique gastronomy issues and outstanding reports, along with
interviews and travel dining experiences from all over the world, determining
the new trends in the world of cooking.
The reason of
that meeting was to promote local recipes, fine wine and olive oil from the
region of Sfaka and in general of Eastern Crete. Besides, Cressa Ghitonia
Village gives special importance to the promotion of Cretan cuisine and its
benefits.
We had the
pleasure to cook with our Chef, Thanοs Panagiotou, a very tasty and traditional
Cretan recipe, grouper with okra and herbs (see recipe in detail here).
The cooking
took place in our hotel terrace, overlooking the mountains and the sea of
Eastern Crete, while attendees enjoyed the experience, in a relaxing and joyful
atmosphere.
We thank from
our heart the magazine for the excellent cooperation and we can’t wait to cook
