With great
success, the traditional Cretan “Kazanema” feast took place at Cressa Ghitonia
Village, on November 16, 2014!
From early
morning, raki and plenty tasty appetizers, along with traditional songs and
Cretan lyre sounds, accompanied the procedure of making the famous Cretan
“raki”, giving attendees the opportunity to enjoy the unique event, with view to the gorgeous
mountains and the sea of Eastern Crete.
More than
200 friends of the Cretan tradition attended this beautiful gathering, and gave
us the opportunity to share with them the special production process of the
Cretan raki and have fun together!
The Greek
media (such as the TV channel of ALPHA, the newspapers “TA NEA”, “To
BHMA”, “ΗΚΑΘΗΜΕΡΙΝΗ”, the radio stations NovaSPOR FM 94,6, Radio
Vereniki & Radio Lassithi, the websites Creteplus.gr, Cretazine,
iNews.gr, and many others), honored us by posting references,
reports and interviews, but mostly they gave us the opportunity to show
through
the Cressa Ghitonia Village, the unique aspects of life in a small
village of
Crete.
